Design brief
Design a piece of furniture

​

The materials applied to the lobby desk demonstrate a luxurious approach in their colour choices; the neutral tone of the oak and marble contrast against the vibrant colours of the lamp shades. The shape of the desk is inspired by a shape portraying a journey of a trade route, and is designed to be a central node point in the hotel. Placed beneath the atrium, it can be seen from each floor of the hotel.
