REST IN DESIGN: HOTEL: FURNITECTURE

 

The design for furnitecture is a multi-functional bed that curves into a writing desk. The design has been influenced by the Arnolfini Portrait, which presents a room scene; portrayed as a reception room rather than a bedroom, the bed is classed as a form of seating. The design has also been influenced by the grain and texture of olive wood;
