Eremito was designed by Marcello Murzilli; an Italian designer who, after being inspired by his travels wanted to re-create a hotel that didn't exist.
‘A unique place, in which find harmony and well-being, through a soul experience’
Murzilli had strong curiosity and always wanted to make a new idea, he asked "what is the new concept, the new path?" His answer “it was not important to me to make a ‘nice hotel, lots of people know how to make nice hotels.” His ambition was to imagine a new concept of luxury.

With an emphasis on silence, Eremito represents an eco-luxury retreat where visitors can reconnect with a deeper meaningful reality, disconnecting themselves from the digital and material distractions of modern life. The rooms represent cells that were once used by hermits in past times who in their small and simple spaces could find time for meditation and prayer.
“there is a great need for ways to be alone, to find the space and silence to enjoy the beauty of living.”

Focusing on ideas of luxury, the hotel provokes ‘spirituality for a world in which material things are not enough, technology to promote self-sufficiency, and ecology to encourage renewal through nature.’

I like this hotel because it provided a non conventional hotel experience; it is not just a location, but a whole different world. The user experience is enhanced by the beautiful views, historic landscape and calm atmosphere. The journey would not only inspire you, but it would change your outlook on the so called 'modern luxuries' in life.
